I loved the first book. Sadly, the second one did not live up to my expectations. I missed the part where it said 135 pages, so this is a novella, not the full novel I expected. The good: I got sucked into the story again because I like the characters. The bad: If I hadn't read the first book, I wouldn't know who half the team was or why/what they were all about and what their roles were on the team. The good: Beautifully descriptive again. I felt like I was there. The bad: This book took a nose dive for me at what I thought was the half-way point, but turned out to be the end.*Spoiler Alert - Read no further if you have issues with that.*
I was totally pissed off at the end of this for several reasons. I didn't buy the "ending" and the gift/will. It felt fake and seemed out of character for such a careful man. I don't mind fade to black, but after all the build up, I didn't feel anything when Sarah and Vince got together. In fact, I wasn't even sure if they did and had to reread this section several times. What a let down. I didn't need the details, but I did need the emotion and that was missing. Finally, and this really pissed me off, this is a cliff-hanger. It left me feeling like I'd been cheated. It was written for the sole purpose of making me buy the next book. Good thing it was only .99. This is NOT a novel like the first book was - this is a darn short novella. I liked the first book so much that I was an idiot and bought this book and book three at the same time - please see my review of it. I really was disappointed.

It's too bad the promise of this series was lost somewhere along the way...This is a fun read, but predictable.
First time reading this author. I really enjoyed this series of books. Good reading with interesting characters and plot lines.
I really like the camaraderie these guys have, easy going story
that keep the reader interested at every page. You get attached
to the characters in her books of Task Force 125. Very good series.
Will read book 3 very soon.
This is a spy novel, yet a love story in reality. There are some special ops people who form a terrific team. We start this off in Vegas, in the sun and heat. Then Europe. The team now has a new mission, Get this arms dealer, in Italy. Vince is the leader, and we are in for a ride. Buckle up and read this delightful yarn!
Loved the 1st book. Didn't care for Sarah in this book much. Her attitude was a complete turn off.

I was disappointed with how short this book was. I bet book two and three could have been combined. Because the book was so short before the story could be set up it was over. And we were left with a cliff hanger. It just felt undeveloped and rushed.
I was afraid this book wasn't going to be as action packed as the first, but I was mistaken! This one is just as great as the first! The steamy chemistry between Sarah and Vince holds true! You even get the fun quirkyness of the other team members! I even liked the cliffhanger ending where Vince is captured so that you know there will be another book! As I was reading this book i could picture everything that was going on and I loved it! I was upset when Sarah got shot, but liked that it showed how human she really is. I was starting to think she's Wonder Woman! This is a great book to read!
